Goes for 28 points tonight on 7 for 11 shooting from the floor and 14 for 17 from the line (!). Chipped in 8 boards as the bobcats beat utah. AK-who?

Gerald's up down and all around this year. January was a bad month for him, maybe Feb will be better.

In any case though we got lucky with a couple of camp invites (Evans and Barnes) who have partially replaced his athleticism if not his interior shotblocking potential etc.

A new career high in scoring for Gerald, as well as career highs in free throws made and attempted in a game. He does need to get more consistent. Maybe he will as they add more talented players over the next year or two.

I wish I could've seen this game.

Totally agree.....this is probably his first game in a long time that he has really done anything. He's likely to go 2 for 12 next game.

yeah, but it seems like almost everytime you look down at the "league leaders" for the day he is the tops of SOMETHING

blocks, steals, rebounds.

He is a whirling dirvish out there. he has MANY ways that he contributes, he is like the poor-mans AK47

He looks like a young Shawn Marion. He is contributing alot in the hustle cats and while inconsistent is developing. Nice to see.

Agreed.

I still don't think he fits very well on this team (at least not in a Rick Adelman rotation), but I think he can be a pretty good player if he can become more consistent.

If he can work on his shot as much as Marion did (where it is ugly but goes in) he could do the same things Marion does in Pho.
