Tonight's Starters vs. Grizzlies: Evans, Thornton, Garcia, Cousins, Dalembert

BTW, I'm officially done with College. Thank you University of the Philippines!

Why the **** would you take a hard jumpshot with 6 seconds left on the clock?

I am not pleased with Marcus Thornton's play. Not enough ball movement.
 
I can't say this enough and it might be repetitive but our offense just goes to crap when Cousins isn't getting touches and directing traffic.

Last 9 quarters he has 34 fga's to 4 asts. Can't judge too much on such a small sample, but he is forcing the issue too much.
 
Off topic... but anyone have any idea what the name of the song is they played going into half time on the Kings broadcast? They play it a lot, but I can't figure out what it is (nor can Shazaam on my phone). :)

I am the same! We just look scrappy and not even "tuned in". I guess I am hoping they wake up after half time and start playing some basketball. As much as Memphis has been dominating us inside, we are still well in this game.

It's a little disconcerting to see, but I think it has more to do with seeing a playoff beard on a Memphis Grizzly, of all people. That said, that Haddadi fella is one not good looking dude. And the beard just accentuates his...not good lookingness. :p
 
Our team has yet again decided to go not just half way, but full retard on offense. Including our hallowed leader, Mr. Cisco. Yeesh, this is ugly. Can our coach call some plays already, instead of sitting around pretending like he's just a spectator at the Rucker?
 
Our guys are some of the most selfish players. Either that or they just don't trust this thing called an offensive system. I'm getting sick and tired of Dalembert going one on one in the post on offense. What in the world happened to all the ball movement that we were seeing a couple of games ago? Now we're back to the old one pass and let a guy go one on one crap.
 
Were back to our old habits again with this one on one play. I guess they figured it would work. Cousin picking up 5 fouls just spells doom because he's the most unselfish player on our team probably.
 
If Marcus had a good game we would be in this more but him and Cousins not having good games clearly hurts us. Tyreke isn't having the best game either. All his points are inside. He hasn't made one jumper.
 
13 assists to 15 TOs.... Yikes.

Is the Reke/Thorton honeymoon period already over? Or is this poster just overreacting?


Also...I dont blame Omri for being mad. Cisco sucks and so does Greene. Omri might not be great, but I dont think it could hurt to give all three guys an opportunity to be an on court liability.
 
I don't like the way Thornton keeps dropping his head every time he feels he should have gotten the ball.
