From Elk Grove to Marysville/Yuba City and back

Earlier today I drove from Elk Grove to Marysville/Yuba City and back from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. I had my Here We Stay sign in the back of my car for the drivers behind me to see.

Had to gas up in Linda, CA (very close to Marysville/Yuba City). I felt like I was in Bakersfield though. Here We Stay!!!

Yay! Did you drive up 70? It is pretty bland. Marysville is a poorer area. I do know a good cafe/coffe place there though, if you happen to ever find yourself there again. http://www.thebrickcoffeehouse.com/

Used to be a great little bookstore there, too. Actually, 99 is a prettier drive. I really like it during fall and winter, when rice fields are flooded and there are thousands of migrating birds. Birs are headed north now, they're getting ready for rice planting and the orchards are in bloom.
