For any of you near a Mountain Mike's pizza, don't forget to take advantage of their offer (free personal 1-topping pizza if the Kings are up at halftime):

Just be sure to have their app on your phone (and register with your email address) and you can take advantage. You don't have to be at the game to claim it, either. Heck, non-Kings fans can even get one.

The next day after the game where they are up at half, visit the website above, click the link ("Click to claim!"), and type in your email address. The free pizza offer will show up on your app. Then use that to order your pizza (even online - it will deduct the cost when you go to check out). Just did it today for the first time.

This might be old news to some, but I'm throwing it out there for those who may not have tried this yet (like me before today).

This is the best part: I don't like football, and never watched a minute of the Georgia Bulldogs' season, but I got about a dozen value meals at McDonald's for late-90s/early-00s prices because McDonald's restaurants here in Georgia were doing some kind of promotion during football season where you could get free fries and a drink with any purchase, if the Bulldogs scored whatever-many points it was in a game.

This is the best part: I don't like football, and never watched a minute of the Georgia Bulldogs' season, but I got about a dozen value meals at McDonald's for late-90s/early-00s prices because McDonald's restaurants here in Georgia were doing some kind of promotion during football season where you could get free fries and a drink with any purchase, if the Bulldogs scored whatever-many points it was in a game.

The Jackson Rancheria casino had a promotion a long time ago where every week you could go in (between Monday and Thursday, I think) and select the winners of the NFL football games that week for free. When you came in the next week you got $1 in free play for each one you got right and could cash out any winnings from those plays.

My wife and I aren't gamblers, but you can bet we went in every week and cashed in what, $10-15 in free play, cashed out our minor winnings, filled the car with gas at their gas station, and more often than not got a bite somewhere to eat paid for with the winnings. Never put any of our own $$$ in to play.

They stopped that after the first year, unfortunately.
