Basically they can offer what his 4th year extension would have been had it been picked up (which the Grizzlies declined, stupid AF rule), which is around 4 million.

Aldama? A steal for him maybe. Dude isn't worth $17M per year! Hopefully they aren't paying him as a bench guy. That is the type of move that cripples a franchsie to pay that much money to a bench guy, even if he is a rotation player.
