FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2006

It starts this weekend the 2006 FIFA Club World Cup, with 6 continental champions facing each other in Japan with the dream of becoming World Champions.

Well, my hometown team (Internacional, from Porto Alegre - Brazil) is playing this year as the South America champion and I´m very excited about it. So I wanted to know what people from other parts of the world think about this championship, and what has been said about it in newspappers and sports show where you live.
Here in Brazil it´s an important tournament and I just want to know how people feel about it around the world...

if anyone it´s interesting I can give further information about the championship and about Internacional (my team) or you can read about in FIFA´s site: http://www.fifa.com/en/comp/index/0,2442,CWC2006,00.html?comp=CWC&year=2006

VAMÔ VAMÔ INTER! <-- somethin like: GO KINGS! :D

Well, here in Europe you can read about it on a few internet sites, but I can't really say that it's popular or important. Many people don't know(including myself) who is recent champion and who is taking part this year.I suppose it is going to be different when some European country take organisation in the future.
Still,I expect to see some good soccer out there

I think last year's champions league winner goes, so it's FC Barcelona.

Either way, no one seems to care about this. The idea behind it is pretty nice but it never seems to have gotten the publicity that one would have expected it to get.
