With Reke now unleashing "havoc" like last season, DMC maturing, playing "big" like we thought he could, plus Beno "the glue" as Coach Westphal called him after last win - it seems almost anything is possible in Feb.

That is an impossible schedule. Too bad that it has to come after we are just gaining some momentum but we will see. Maybe the kings new ability to close games will help.

Yes - this month and the first parts of March are just brutal. Even with playing much better basketball of late, we'll still probably be lucky to finish the month 5-8.

I don't think all is lost though - we'll probably end up in the vicinity of 25 wins even with the brutal second half schedule, which will get us into the top 6 of picks and get us enough ping pong balls to legitimately have a chance at a top 3.

Anyway, we used up the easy part of our season by losing.

I love the schedule. The harder, the better. Every weakness, minor or major, is exposed. So if the Kings don't play to their maximum potential, they get killed. It's a learning experience....

Over these last two games we've proven that we can beat anyone. I expect a lot of these games to be competitive, and for us to steal a few. A couple weeks ago I would've said this is hopeless, but the tremendous advances in Cousins' play makes me think we can beat anyone. Tyreke also showed some flashes of old 'Reke today, slashing to the basket easily on a couple plays. I have a feeling we're gonna surprise some teams this month.

And if we don't win them all, who cares? We already beat the Fakers and we'll get a better piece in the draft next year. Win-win.

Don't forget the 4.5 assists...If he could ever be a 26/11/4.5 guy, I think we may be able to be decent.
