Favorite World Cup Goal so far!

I know the finals are this weekend, but up until now... what has been the most impressive goal of the world cup so far in your opinion?

I'll give you my top 5 in no particular order.

-Zidane's free kick and Henry's finish in France's victory over Brasil.
-Maxi Rodriguez's goal from outside the box in extra time help Argentina beat Mexico.
-Klose's equalizer against Argentina on a sweet header.
-Italy's first goal against Germany in extra time by Fabio Grosso.
-Joe Cole's bender in England's game agianst Sweden.

I'm sure there are other impressive goals that are deserving of consideration, but these are the goals that caught my attention based on magnitude and overall brilliance.

I didn't see that many goals, but I'd have to go with Italy's goal against Germany. That wasn't even stoppage time, it was the end of the last overtime period, less than three minutes away from penalty kicks in one of the two most important games so far (the semifinals). That added to the fact that it was great kick makes it my favorite.

How could you leave out the Argentina-Serbia&Montenegro goal from Cambiasso? I mean, seriously? That is something you won't see any time soon. I think that one, followed by Maxi Rodriguez's goal, stand out.

I missed that game obviously. My bad!

I am behind Italy 100%...but i gotta give it to joe cole...

that volley from way outside the box into the upper v was...well.. i watched it an hour straight to finally have it absorb.

I personally think Maxi Rodriguez's goal (which was very similar) was much better executed. Also, it had alot more significance.

Never could get into soccer. It was OK when I was a kid, but can't watch a game that 50% end in a 0-0 tie.

Ever see the Simpsons episode where Kent Brockman is calling a game than it pans to the Mexican brodcaster? LOL so true.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Grosso's goal over Germany just b/c it was in overtime... That was pretty intense..

But a VERY close second had to be Rodriguez's goal against Mexico.. That was SWEET! He hit the ball into the upper left corner ever so nicely..

Word^. 26 touches that ends on a backheel pass from Crespo to Cambiasso?? That goal was insane, but Maxi may have actually topped it especially because of the timing of his goal.
