BTW, one of the other Dynamo players is "N. Martinez". Is that Nuria Martinez? Didn't she spend a little time with the Monarchs several years ago? I know that she was on the Minnesota Lynx team as well.

As for the team photos, is that their mascot? A policeman (or military officer) who is something like 10 feet tall?

Very little..in fact, as I recall Nuria Martinez spent no time with the Monarchs. We had her draft rights but she had national team commitments and never showed up so we released her rights. The Lynx picked her up and I believe she never suited up for them either. (edit: she did actually suit up for one game with the Lynx for 2 minutes, so eh..I'm still considering that never really playing for them either too )

I'm delighted to see she dunked, the numbers are actually much more exciting to me if they translate when she arrives back in Sacramento
