Sacramento Kings general manager Scott Perry has received high marks for his work at the NBA Draft. It don’t work salary wise. Maybe monk
It works salary wise.

DeMar DeRozan ($24.75 mil)

For

PJ Washington ($14.15 mil)
Naji Marshall ($9.00 mil)
Dwight Powell ($4.00 mil)
2029 LAL 1st

That’s $27.5 mil for $24.75 mil. Certainly within the range allowed by trade restrictions.

Having said that, we’d probably be fortunate to get one of Washington or Marshall for DeRozan. Yet this proposal has both of them coming to Sacramento AND an unprotected 1st round draft pick. This is an egregious overpay by DAL.

I mean they did just egregiously undersold Luka, they're gonna be cheaper and harder to deal with than ever after the blowback they got for that!

Dallas doesn’t do that trade for PJ Washington and a first this is a wild offer
