The Sacramento Monarchs will be hosting a special pre-game "3 Point-Play Reception" for breast cancer survivors before tip-off on the June 24th Breast Health Awareness game. Edna Campbell and Bobby Jackson will be on hand to share their experiences and welcome survivors to the game.
Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and special gifts will be available at the reception and survivors will be invited down to the Monarchs court during halftime for a special celebration recognizing all breast cancer survivors.
If you are a breast cancer survivor, are attending the June 24th game, and would like to attend the reception, please RSVP by calling the Sacramento Monarchs Community Service Department at

If you're a survivor or better yet: warrior, or know someone who is, call by tomorrow, Wednesday. My partner & I will be there, she's a warrior! I've really learned alot from her, let me tell you. We've gone to the last few receptions, and they are really nice. They give warriors a nice gift bag, and they put out a nice spread of food. Also there's inspirational messages from Edna and Bobby. And of course some photo ops. And get there early!
