Eddie house for Nate?

Am i missing something here? why would the celtics trade away house? did they get back cash?

Eddie house has killed alot of teams coming off the bench...

The way I heard it described they felt they needed more help off the bench at the guard position, and while Eddie is a really good 3 pt shooter, he plays no defense and the 3 pt shooting is really the only dimension to his game.

They felt Nate could provide more of all around guard support.

Horrible trade. Even the Celtics players were like, "uh? why did we do that?"

Agreed. Basically they didnt really do anything to get better. Cleveland was better than Boston prior to the trade deadline. Now theyve just distanced themselves even more, once Jamison gets in sync with everyone.

this was a stupid trade by the celtics. nate robinson is a "ME" player and really is not that better of a point guard than eddie house was. and then house goes off for 24 points in his knicks debut

I was suprised that they went through with this trade..Sometimes I think that some teams do trades just for the sake of doing a trade. But I guess they felt that Nate could give them a boost of energy that Eddie can't or doesn't provide.
