I hope you're right. However, I do see Indiana having a better chance winning either Games 1 or 2 in Miami and then clinching it in IND in Game 6 rather than going on the road in a Game 7 atmosphere and pulling it off. Like I said though, I hope you're right. If they can steal 1 in Miami early, and then protect home court, they have a great chance.
Isn't Bosh out? And does that change anyone mind?

it really says something about my lack of respect for Chris Bosh that I don't think the Heat are going to be affected at all by him missing, but yeah, I don't think they will be. the Heat just have been something else entirely these playoffs and especially LeBron has been awe-inspiring, there really is no other way to put it. whenever they wanted, they could just completely put the brakes on their opponents and have Wade and James just pounce on them at the other end, especially in transition. the Pacers played a near perfect game against them the other night, had Bosh missing in the second half and still ended up losing pretty significantly. there just doesn't seem to be an opponent left in the EC to give Miami much trouble. they did struggle against Boston at the end of the regular season, but they didn't seem to care whatsoever then, they do now. if they were to play the 76ers, I don't know that Philly even wants to show up for that series. they were eaten alive every time they played the Heat this year.
yup. what everyone said during year one of the big three is becoming reality in year two: the minute one of them goes down with an injury heading into the playoffs or during the playoffs, the wheels are gonna fly off the whole damn thing. bosh may be the least of these three stars in question, but without him, the heat simply do not have enough depth to compete with a tough, hard-nosed team in the playoffs. its telling that hibbert went off for 19 and 18 in this game...
slowly but surely Dwyane Wade has moved from being the most likeable to the least likeable of Miami's top three. way to go man, keep it up. since I'm already wrong in my prediction, Indiana should just go on to sweep the rest of the series. Spurs-Thunder and 76ers-Pacers Conference Finals would be the absolute best-case scenario for these playoffs.
man, who the hell would have predicted the 76ers and the pacers in the eastern conference finals a week ago? i don't really see it happening because boston is playing with increased focus right now, particularly kevin garnett, but i would LOVE to see a 6ers/pacers ECF. it probably wouldn't play that well on TV (basically ZERO star power between those two teams), but its unlikely enough to be compelling...
