That kinda sucks. I wanted Horford to win. He's led the rookies in double-doubles and rebounds and is a big part of the Hawks getting into the playoffs.

too bad there wasn't an Oden/Durant battle all year long.

I still think Horford was the better rookie. He had a better all around year and did it more efficiently than Durant. On top of all that he had a much bigger and more positive impact on his teams success. It's also nice to see Al pick his game up even more in the playoffs.

Who is to say that Atlanta would do any better than Sonics did in the Western conference ?
On the other hand, 20 ppg is good, but his FG percentage is very low.
