From a Mavs fan perspective.... I am excited as all get out to have Christie on our team. I would expect nothing but respect for him from our fans.
In his press conference he came across as a really cool, easy going guy with a mission to play Basketball. How can you not welcome that?
I was pretty shocked when they played that cartoon on the jumbotron. I took it as just trying to get under the skin of the Kings and to pump up the crowd. But it was pretty shocking that they would pick on something about his private life.

He has always been a consummate professional while here with the Kings and definitely a fan favorite. I think a lot of what happened with Orlando last year was management-induced. If he is healthy, he will do a lot of the little things to get the W. He's also a GREAT community and lockerroom guy.
We all respecet the heck out of him for what he did here and wish the best for him. Doesn't mean the same extends to your team when we meet, though.
