Did anyone watch the game or see highlights of the Knicks vs Celtics last night. Carmelo and KG were attacking eachother like crazy. Yelling at eachother and almost getting in fights multiple times. It got me thinking that DeMarcus would have undoubtedly been tossed from the game and likely suspended for the behavior.

Then apparently Melo was seen going to the Celtics locker room after the game and seen yelling and screaming. ThEN he even went and waited for KG outside the team bus. Could you imagine the negative media DMC would recieve? Not to mention a hefty suspension. But on NBAtv the guys barely mentioned it and didnt really care too much. Just talked about how these things happen because Celtics Knicks is a great rivalry. Wtf?

NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett got into an altercation in the bowels of Madison Square Garden after the Boston Celtics' 102-96 win over the New York Knicks on Monday, and building security and New York City police officers were called upon to defuse the incident, two sources with knowledge of the incident told ESPNNewYork.com.



Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks want what Boston has, and losing their cool isn't the way to attain it, Johnette Howard writes.


"It was like being in the schoolyard," said one witness to the incident.


The two stars did not come to blows, according to a police source. But Anthony was still hot after getting into a confrontation with Garnett in the fourth quarter of the Celtics' win that resulted in a double technical.

After the game, Anthony angrily walked off the floor and out of the tunnel that visiting teams use to exit the floor, instead of exiting out of the Knicks' tunnel.

So how many games will Melo and KG get? Because we know that would be about 5 if his name was DMC.

I can't believe somebody snitched on Melo. That guy hates snitches.

It's a perfectly logical extension of the story.

But you're right in one sense - there are times when "this forum...too much to handle." The vitriol aimed at Cousins by you and a few others is beyond belief. Is it that tough for you to look past your own bias in threads like this?

I have read virtually every post you've ever made on this forum and I'm honestly puzzled because, until this whole DMC thing came up, I thought you were a pretty rational poster.

a podcast by a couple of guys, none of whom are Kings fans and all of whom are fairly well in touch with the league, who also bring up Cousins in relation to that story and say he'd be suspended and that he's treated completely differently. now ask yourself this: pretty much nobody on this board is on your side in this and even outside observers aren't. don't you think you're like the guy on the highway, listening to a radio warning about a wrong-way driver, shouting "one? there's dozens of them!"

We just disagree on DMC. I am irrational because I'm not a DMC fan? You realize that pretty much anybody associated with the league shares my viewpoint of him don't you? It's actually the biased fans on this forum that are the minority (which is perfectly understandable as most fans have a hard time being honest about their own players).

That's why every team wants to trade for him and fans make up stupid trades to get him.
