do you think raja bell will get suspended?

There was malice and forethought (according to Bell, he did it because Kobe elbowed him earlier in the game -- stupid for him to admit that he did it on purpose). He should be suspended, but this is Stu Jackson we're talkin about. Evans grabbed someone's balls and suited up for the next game.

It has nothing to do with who they were playing. That take-down was way worse than throwing a mouthpiece...come on, don't let your Laker hatred blind you to a dirty play.
What would you all be saying if that clotheline happened to Bibby or Artest? (Try to think objectively here.) :)

Yeah he probably will. He deserves it too I guess. I still don't want him to be suspended, but if he's suspended he earned it.

I guess that means Diaw is going to guard Kobe the whole game and Barbosa will have to give up minutes so House can guard Walton since Barbosa is a shrimp.

At any rate, the Suns lost out on a few flops right off the bat. The refs actually call pushoffs on Kobe, so that's a loss for Phx.

Based on Stu Jackson assesment of the Artest foul it sure looks like the foul by Bell was much worse. At least Artest didn't grab him around the neck and throw him down. He will be suspsended.

If Ron was suspended, then Raja should be suspended for what he did as well.

Now, the Suns were screwed over at the end of Game 4, and Kwame should have been suspended as well... those are the only reasons I can think of that the league might not suspend Bell.

That said, I think the Suns would almost be better off without him. Regardless of who is in there, Kobe is going to go off on. And the TNT guys were right on that Bell's presence in the game would just be like adding fuel to the fire.

He will...don't want him to be since they're playing the Lakers, but he deserves it. If he's not suspended, Artest's suspension will be an even bigger piece of garbage.

Bell should and will be suspended.

I don't know... I do know what I'd say if Bibby got elbowed in the face and fell to the floor with a bloody nose, though.

Bell is a piece of crap. So is Kobe. Evans is just gay.

I hate how so many of you use the term 'gay' as just a general derogatory term. I mean, just because a man intentionally reaches from behind and grabs another man's privates without any feasible reason, that makes him 'gay'? Geez.

;)

Wouldn't that be funny if that actually happened in a tight contested WCF game and they actually called the foul on Bibby for hitting Kobe's elbow with his nose.....oh wait, that actually happened

My thoughts as well. And believe me, I have no love lost on Kobe.

They just announced Bell will get a 1 game suspension. He said Kobe was a pompous arrogant individual. This could get very interesting.

Pssst... that didn't actually happened. They called the foul on Christie when Kobe hit him with an elbow. The play where Bibby got the bloody nose they didn't call a foul on either of them, and then Kobe got the inbounds pass and that's when Bibby fouled him.

It won't because Suns lose out next game at Staples. With no one on the Suns but him who can stay with him, and give him any kind of problems.

Would of been fun, indeed, I wanted him to play. Stu Jackson takes it away though.

That sucks and Raja gets suspended. I hate it when the league cuts good players from critical games....

Maybe if these players were so good they wouldn't resort to flopping all the time and clotheslining players because they can't play good defense on them.

He got T'd for hacking Kobe across the arms well after the whistle was blown in Gm3. He forgot about that little thing when he was complaining about getting hit in the jaw in Gm5 (of which there's curiously no footage).

And, once again, a thread has been edited.

If there's a place for "gay jokes," this message board isn't it.
