Was at the game (thanks to pushn80).
Felt like he was absolutely lights out from three. And then, like clockwork, his man comes out, and he just goes right past him to the hole. I don't see this as a fluke anymore. I think we have a legit 25-30pt/12-15 reb/2 block/1-2stl, defensive anchor, FORTY PERCENT THREE POINT SHOOTING center.
Folks that is absolutely nuts. There has never been a player in NBA history who could do that.
That's what Doug Christie was saying after the game tonight. We are witnessing history.
I am actually Doug Christie. And yes, I did say that.

His off nights are 20/10 type games
Such a dynamic threat, when his shot isn't falling he finds other ways to hit the scoreboard...
For all Big Cuz's talent, Rondo has been the tap that funnels and keeps that ability stable throughout the ups and downs of momentum in games
Absolutely agreeRondo asst totals, last five games:
14
14
15
12
15
And those stats seem so natural. He's not warping the offense to get them. Crazy as this sounds, I think we may have an even slightly BETTER Rondo than the pre-injury, given the pieces he has around him. Keep in mind he and his teammates are still learning each other. But the last five games he's clearly figured something out about running this team. I think Karl also has relented and begun to let Rondo have more influence over the style. We're seeing the obsession with small ball ease up a bit. More half court. Was at the game tonight... and he just. looks. so. comfortable out there.

eh, wouldn't go nearly that far. Don't think the defense will ever be back. But the rebounding, leadership and playmaking all seems to have returned after the Dallas debacle, which is great for us moving forward.
