Maybe and maybe not. It's a question that will be answered a few years down the road.
Cuz can't shoot well near the rim and that was a speciality of CWebb's. So they are the same in some ways but waaaaay different in others.BTW, does anyone have stats of Cuz near the rim and at 16 ft? I swear he looks better with that little 16 ft jumper than in closer.

We had CWebb from 25-32 years old. Cuz is only 22 years old. Webbs 3rd year at 22 he only played in 15 games. The only area's webb was better was shooting % and assists. Also, his shooting % dropped when he came to sacramento.
Webb also had problems staying on the court. the most games in a season was 76 his rookie year.

It's hard to randomly pick two players like the poster asked to do. To be honest, the question was originally asked so that the Jazz fan could find yet another way to tell us that Cuz isnt very good.
I will say this, Demarcus has the potential to have as good of a career as Webb. Will he? Probably not, but the skills have the potential to get there.

A triple double is great, less great when you go 4-12 for 10 points. 10 rebounds is also good but Big not like he was a rebounding monster. 10 assist is really good. No argument here.

Lets not be silly.
This isn't about Favors vs Cousins. This is about a center that is 6'11" and 270lbs and played 31 min getting 10 boards. It is good but it isn't great. The impressive part of his triple double were the assists.
BTW Favors plays 21 min a game. 6.4 rebs is good.

Actually if you were to really analyze the assists, many of them came late in the game when the outcome had already been decided. The Celtics had given up and weren't playing defense and DMC was looking to pass to anybody to get the the triple double. He probably shouldn't have even been in the game at that point. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that he got the triple double and all but when you look deeper you might have to put an asterisk next to it. It's no different than Bricklayer being critical of Jimmer in the Kings-Pistons game thread even though he scored a bunch of points in the 4th quarter and helped the Kings comeback.

Actually NO. Yes it was in late game blowout. The amazing part was they were doing it running an offense. The went to Cuz in the high post and he was finding the open man. I don't care if they were up 50 or down 50 they were executing!

Watch the 2001 Laker series again. He was playing great basketball.
Beyond that, you are choosing to either forget or ignore a great deal Webb brought to this franchise.
During the showtime era of the Lakers there was a large part of the fan base that wanted Riley gone. The said he was costing them games with his style of play......

Wait, what!?!? Webber put Sacramento on the map! He's the main reason this team was a legit championship contender. Without him, those Kings teams would have been perennial 8th seed type teams. He was the dynamic talent a good team needs to be elite. You're nuts. His knee injury was what removed this team from challenging for more titles.
