De’AarHIM Fox

Fox absolutely carried the team to the W tonight. Without his clutch shots at the end, the Jazz would've 100% ran away with it at the end. Would love to see if he can build on this and continue to string together more dominant performances leading up to the AS game. The spot is 100% there if he wants it.

No doubt, we need this version of Fox every night..although I might settle for 50% FG instead of 68%.

Told my wife right when it happened that the best thing about De’Aaron’s last shot was that it hung on the rim for several bounces and wasted enough time so that it was virtually impossible for the Jazz to get a shot off in time. And they didn’t.

But if Swipa’s layup goes in more smoothly leaving .06 or more — that follow up shot by Markkanen counts. And we’re all crushed.

Those are the lucky breaks that many don’t consider.

But our KINGS deserved that good fortune after what the officials did to them once again. Bush league officiating, like usual. The Clarkson foul really irks me given that De’Aaron got called for an offensive foul for doing the exact same thing a few games ago.

one question only. will this be the year he gets his first all-star berth?
That's ultimately up to him. If he keeps playing this way, then 100% yes. However, if he puts up duds like the Memphis game, then no.

The starting unit has 2 back court players paired with 3 front court guys. The bench will also have at least 2 back court and 3 front court guys. There's 2 remaining spots that can go to any position. The final few spots are up for grabs imo.

Right now, here's what I think the locks for the AS look like:

Starters
G: Doncic*
G: Curry*
F: Lebron*
F: Zion
C: Jokic*

Reserves
G: SGA*
G: Morant*
F: PG13*
F: Sabonis*
C: AD or Markkanen

Additional Spots:
1: Booker*
2:

Guys who I think are locks have an asterisk by their name.

Left fighting for my projected lone spot are: Fox, Lillard, Edwards, Bane, and Grant.

Injuries could shake things up. Curry has been out for several games now. Lillard and Bane have missed considerable amount of games. AD is still out because of injury. Zion has also just recently gotten injured. I'm also not sure if they'll classify Doncic as a front court player because of his size.
