Hahaha GSW are becoming the Raiders.

Really? I look at the Warriors going into free agency and I don't see one power forward I like on the whole roster. Biedrins and Gadzuric are both centers. Vladimir Radmanovic is terrible. I think Turiaf is a good role player, but nothing more. Brandan Wright didn't set foot on the court this past year and has done pretty close to absolutely nothing in his three years since being drafted. And Randolph? A lot of potential, but apparently injury-prone and incredibly skinny, and I think if he's going to make it in the NBA, it's going to be as a SF, not a PF. This leaves only first-round draft pick Ekpe Udoh, and who knows how he develops? That's five guys, and a gaping hole at PF.
They traded away two of those guys, a role player and a future SF in order to get one of the top PFs on the market who has shown that he can rebound and score at an elite rate on a weak team. Did they overpay him? Maybe. But Lee is now the obvious starter, Radmanovic and Wright get pushed aside and leave in a year (both contarcts up), and it's going to be Lee and Udoh getting the minutes at the 4 in GS. I like Lee with Udoh backing him up a lot more than I like the five-headed Randolph/Wright/Turiaf/Udoh/Radmanovic clusterbomb.
This all hinges on how Randolph is viewed and develops.
I like David Lee and wanted the Kings to try and get him a couple of years ago, but I don't think he is worth any where near this kind of money. It is hard to say if the Warriors gave up too much or not. If Randolph becomes a good as many seem to think, then it could be a mistake. Azubuike & Turiaf are both nice role players, but ultimately won't make much of a difference in the long run.
On a side note, I think this makes it even more likely that they will resign Morrow. Azubuike is a player that brings a lot of similiar things (albiet, not as good IMO). His pressence would have made it easier for them to let Morrow go, but now he becomes more of a need IMO.
Why wouldn't you want Lee? He's a 20-10 guy with a high BBall IQ. He's not the most athletic guy or best defensively, but he does make up for it with smart play, and again, he is a 20-10 guy!!! Being a slow white guy he has to work harder to get those numbers and it has paid off.
