Flopi
Bench
Not sure there's room for him in the Kings roster but Damien Inglis got waived by the Bucks.
He is a young player with good potential and I think he is a low risk / high value bet.
He didn't show much these past 2 years (got injured and played mainly in NBA D-League) but he is still very young (just turned 21 !) and he has tremendous physical attributes: 6'9'' with a 7'3'' wingspan, huge hands, strong (240 pounds, good frame), good but not great athletism.
He plays the 3/4 position and his main value is on the defensive end : he's got good instinct and awareness, plus his physical tools, he can be a special defensive player, both on and off the ball, as he can defend multiple positions.
Having watching him a bit in youth french national team, I can tell you that he is also a very versatile player. He's a good rebounder and has also a very good basketball IQ. The thing he didn't have a chance to show of in the NBA is his passing game : he has good vision and is a willing passer.
The biggest problems for him are his shooting and dribbling. His shoot isn't broken and he can knock the NBA 3 but he is very inconsistent with it. His handle is not very good at the moment and it doesn't allow him to correctly use his massive frame in driving and bullying inside. I think these are the two things he really needs to work on in order to become a legitimate SF in the NBA.
But, again, he is still very young so I guess there is room for progress.
Just my two cents !
