Dallas is killin Golden State

Van Horn with 24 points off the bench. For a prior Kings' squad, that would have been a nightmare, but Van Horn is just the type of backup PF that this Kings' squad wants to see. He's not going to kill you on the boards, and I think this is his first breakout offensive game with the Mavs. Hasn't been shooting well previously.

Hope so since I really really dislike the Mavs lol.

Well, Dallas just worked Golden State. If they play this well tomorrow night we are in trouble.

If Dallas plays this well, we will whup their a**. At one time in the 2nd half, the Warriors were shooting 20%. Who can't beat that? The Warriors were getting upset at the refs and getting T's called right and left. Dunleavy got tossed in the 3rd qtr. Dirk got lots and lots of calls by the officials. He is a great actor. He'll reach back with his elbows and poke a guy and when the guy lifts his hands or arms, he is the one getting called for the foul. I saw that 3 times.

I'll take the game that the Mavs played. Our "B" game could beat that.

Exactlyh if CSW had palyed like tah against the Kings we would have taken the series. Dallas is NOT looking that good. They are dangerous, but not dominat.

I'll tell you one thing i offically LOVE Dunleavy Jr. LOL

the game had sucha high level of playoff intensity...love that

Im surprised that JRich didn't dominate from to start to finish considering he usually plays like Jordan on Nationally Televised games

I agree with 6th in that the Warriors were getting very caught up in the officals they just needed to focus on their game...i thought Jr.'s ejection would have sparked them but nope not really...lol

the officiating was horrific though...the league really must do something about it...the thing that i find very funny is Mavs fans insist that Dirk doesn't get the calls...LMAO...i think (from what i seen meaning the 2nd half) he got the red carpet treatment for sure.....

personally im looking to snap Avery Johnson's head coaching win streak tomorrow...and send the Mavs and there fans crashing back down to Earth :)

Miserable three-point shooting by Warriors tonight.: 2-23. Ugly game; horrible officials. Hey, Stern, better throw some better officials out there when a game's on ESPN.

Thats what we refer to as the Josh Howard effect. Whoever he guards is going to more than likely have a bad night.

Thats how Dallas plays. Dallas is #1 in the NBA in opponents 3 pt %. The days of Dallas leaving people wide open on 3s for possession after possession are over.

Well, it will help that the Mavs don't have Dampier since the Kings have no real size to speak of with Miller out and OTag being out of shape. I'll be interested to see how the Kings defend Dirk now that they have PFs that can actually move around with him (read: no more hobbled CWebb).

Josh Howard is turning into a punk real quick. The Mavs won because the Warriors went ICE cold in the second half.....I mean they just couldn't buy a bucket and they were getting tons of wide open shots.

I think we can handle *allas...

Well, it must have been the ghost of Derek Harper gaurding the Warriors out on the perimeter because the majority of shots they were missing were wide open. They just went cold.

By the way, J-Rich just got back after his Stepdad(I think that's who it was) died and he really didn't look into the game whatsoever.

One other quick point is that Dallas pretty much played a Zone defense last night and when the shots aren't falling his can be very effective.

^^ I agree. I'm excited that we will most likely face them in the 1st round. Their fans don't seem to learn though. They keep calling us queens on their forums and yet they get eliminated by us every year.....what does loosing to the "queens" make you ???

I can't wait too see that look of failure and disappointment on Mark Cuban's face :)

i wonder where that "Josh Howard effect" was at tonight against the Kings...hmm ::thinks::

sorry HAD to say...was planning on saying it if Peja had a good game...sorry had to say it...::shrugs::

Hey, even Josh Howard isn't perfect nor can he guard everyone. However, when Peja gets in his zone, there is no one to stop him, except himself.

Miles berg, it was a great game. Hope you enjoyed it, even if you did not like the outcome. Stop and see us anytime. You are one of the few CLASS Mavs fans to ever visit this site and you talk good hoops.
