Kings corner: Kings have to shake off loss to the Suns

I think guys were pretty disappointed and embarrassed, to say the least, after giving up that lead we had to Phoenix. I mean, here was a team we could possibly be playing against in the playoffs, and we had a 17-point lead at home at halftime. Then we gave up 17 points in the third quarter and lost by 13. That's a 30-point turnaround in a half against a team you'd not only like to send a message to, but also you want to have a message in your mind that you beat them.
We've played them well all season, but when you're fighting for a place in the standings and to secure a playoff spot, that was hard to swallow.
All that being said, we've still got two games left, at home (today) and Tuesday. You keep an eye on the scoreboard to see what other teams are doing, but really you can't depend on anything else than what you can do. Teams can sit down players for rest, and you really can't blame them for taking care of their squads.
