In two solid first half stints, she was primarily responsible for first turning a three point deficit to a five point lead. And then scoring the last five points of the half, turning a 12 point lead to a 17 point lead.

Absolutely Brilliant!!!!!

I've given this its own thread. Kara and TEAM USA definitely deserve their own thread to honor the outstanding job they did in totally dominating the women's competition this year.

What a fun, dominating, awesome run by team USA. Kara, you represented well and were a real asset to the team and the winning of the Gold.

Can't wait til Aug 30th. It is Women of Inspiraton Night at ARCO. We've had a Women of Inspiration Olympics by USA Baskeball.

Btw- flipping through the radio this morning she was on KNCI at around 7:40am. I haven't been able to find a listing for it. The part I caught, She basically talked about the excitement of being at the Olympics and the energy in the tunnel during the opening ceremonies while all the USA athletes were chanting "USA!"
