Haha, what a fascinating debate between two people arguing over the internet about a 77-year-old man’s ability to affect his former workplace after a stroke two years ago, with both sides confidently presenting their general observations about men of his age as evidences.

Fox can’t lead his team to a big win vs a team trying to lose the game lmao Denver’s coach looks pissed

The Spurs have gone from 34 wins last year to 62 wins this year with Wemby only playing 64 games. Fox and co. have done just fine for themselves during the regular season. And considering San Antonio last made it to the post-season 7 years ago and last won a post-season series 9 years ago, I doubt they're looking ahead to their second round matchup already. They're an inexperienced team with a lot of young players so they really need to be focusing on winning their first round matchup first, regardless of who the opponent is.

We're all a fascinating bunch...what can I say??? :p

Having now seen the clip of LaMelo Ball grabbing and lifting Bam's ankle off the ground while his other foot was in the air, and then watching his post-game presser where he wouldn't even own up to doing it on purpose -- I'm inclined to be done with that dude forever. Things happen in the heat of the moment and I'm sure he's sorry about it. I kinda need more then "I was confused about where I was" as an excuse though.

At least Draymond had the decency to try to fight the entire arena when he stomped Domas.

LaVar taught him well.

Kind of like Draymond saying he had nowhere else to put his foot after stomping on Sabonis' chest.

I was thinking of exactly that, yeah. It looked equally as intentional. And now he doesn't want to own up to being that mean-spirited. That was my interpretation anyway.
The man knows his team is in a win or go home game and is screwed if he doesn’t play. Of course he’s trying to avoid taking any blame for his actions haha

Here's Ball crashing his car into someone in the other lane with no charges. I heard he has a few 100+ mph tickets. Kid needs to have some consequences soon.

Because I don't agree that he did it on purpose.

Sure. We all can see the same thing and have different opinions about it. It matters to me that he's already done this before, multiple times including to Bam. It's also a pretty common "vet move" that a lot of players think is totally legit if you can get away with it. It might prevent a fast break and most of the time nobody gets seriously hurt. From where Ball was on the court, I don't think there's any way he could have known Bam was off-balance and that grabbing his leg would upend him in a dangerous way. I think he just saw a foot within arm's reach and did what he's done many times before. No real malicious intent, just an unfortunate situation. But having seen the replay I still personally don't think "I was confused" passes muster as a legit excuse. I'd respect him more if he just owned it. Yes I was grabbing the leg. No I didn't intend to hurt him, just slow him down a bit. Maybe he'll do that privately if he actually does intend to apologize to Bam. His flippancy suggests otherwise to me.
