Sorry, if I'm repeating a topic or highlight that has already been discussed, but:

ComCast replays the Kings games ..... I noticed it the other day while channel surfing and the Kings and the Grizz were on, and today they replayed last nights game vs the Celtics .... I sat and re-watched both games (couldn't pass it up).

I am definitely pumped-up for HD .... can't wait ... Dec. 19th vs Hornets

I think it's geat also. I went to an early dinner party last night nad got home just in time to see the rerun game. I almost logged on the KF in the first quarter to see who won. Glad I didn't. What a luxury to have reruns available.

The replay rocks! On the odd days I have to work, or attend family functions, during games, I can catch the replay (of course I still listen on the radio) This pleases my family on two levels. I'm not calling them reminding them to start the tape 20 times, and I'm not telling my mother "Sure, I'd love to come up for dinner! Can we eat at, oh say 2 O'Clock? The games on at 4.

Hey, thanks for letting me know about this. With DirecTV in my area, I've been blackout out of all Kings games, but I found out they do show the replay! This has changed the quality of my life 100%!

:D

If you have DirecTV, you should call them up and complain about the black-outs. You should not be blacked-out. They blacked-out my first DirecTV Kings game for about 15 minutes (by mistake) until they corrected the problem. Maybe, if you act perturbed enough, they will comp you some Showtime minutes or something. It aint much, but if it's free?

Actually, since SCKingsfan is in Santa Cruz - Warriors territory like me - I think we should be getting blacked out. I'd be afraid to call and complain, because we get the replays without blackout and they might take those away.

There not gonna take away your reruns. If you are that concerned, do like Tony Soprano. Call from a pay-phone somewhere and ask a few questions for a "friend".

You don't even know how paranoid about this I am.

Although I am steadily making progress. I no longer post in small print about this subject (like I used to) and I no longer have to watch the entire replay straight through without changing channels or rewinding. Doc says I'm doing well, but we both know that if they take my Kings game replays away I'll be headed for a breakdown.

Unfortunately, DirecTV says they have no control over these blackouts. They gave me the telephone of CSNW to complain directly! The ole' passing-the-buck strategy....

Just be glad you have the replays. The whole blackout thing is complex and fraught with ridiculous provisos, but the NBA was very careful in drafting it. Comcast has no choice, either. They get the listings of zip codes from the NBA and could lose their broadcasting rights if they failed to abide by it.
