Might I remind everyone this is the same guy that was polled "the worst coach in the NBA" last year by NBA players....

Coach of the Year is such a stupid award -- it always goes to the guy who is coaching the team reporters most underestimated going into the season. Team has a breakout year, the coach gets coach of the year.

Couldn't be that reporters are idiots, it must be that great coach!

I KNOW that was the point. Good news for them is they'll get rid of a few phat contracts, namely Allan Houston's...$20,000,000...and he hasnt even played in 3 years. Oh yeah, not to mention Jalen Rose's $16,000,000 and Mo Taylor's $9,750,000 and Shandon Anderson's $8,500,000. Holy crap thats some great money management!
