Does anybody have any comments on this movie? I really enjoyed this basketball movie that dealt with issues on life. But what I really liked was the basketball action. Very real, very authentic. There is a small, small Sacramento Kings reference, and one of the lead characters was a Kobe Bryant clone.

Two thumbs up!!!! If you are a basketball fan, go see this movie.

I really want to see it, but thats what I said about Friday Night Lights... so far they seem to be great movies from what I hear. I will definitly go see this one.

I saw it on Friday. There were a couple of Sacramento (the city--hope this isn't spoiling anything but, the movie is based on a high school team in Richmond, CA., just outside of San Fran.) references...the young folk got a kick out of that-clapping, yelling etc..

The movie was ok;the message a good one.

The real Coach Carter was on Oprah with Samuel L. Jackson, as were some of the members of the basketball team (real). It was apparent that Jackson held Carter in the highest regard. I am looking forward to seeing the movie - although I have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Very predictable, but a very good movie nonetheless. Samuel L. Jackson did a good job.

Check out this web page about Coach Ken Carter. Why are there not more teachers and mentors like this?

Read the Limbaugh interview. The movie is apparently very accurate.
