On April 2nd 2002 Kings won in Memphis 107 - 83 to improve to 54-19 for the season. Webber lead 6 Kings in double figures with 18/11/5/2st. Hedo had 16/5/2/2st, DC had 12/6/6/2st, Mike had 12/2/6 and Vlade had 10/6/2/3st/2bl. bench was good too lead by Bobby who had 19/4/2,Scott had 8/10/2bl, Funderburke had 8/7.

Chris Webber had 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in just three quarters as the Sacramento Kings crushed the Memphis Grizzlies, 107-83, to improve to 4-0 on their six-game road trip. Bobby Jackson tallied 19 points and Hedo Turkoglu 16 for the Kings, who shot 51 percent (47-of-93) and had six players reach double figures en route to their fifth straight victory overall.

Sacramento (54-19) won for the eighth time in its last nine road games to improve to 21-15 away from Arco Arena. The Kings have the league's best home record at 33-4. The Kings tied a franchise record by winning their fifth consecutive road game.

Kings @ 37-36 currently on the 3 games road winning streak 1.5 games away from 7th and 2 games ahead from 9th spot in the West. Kings also are trying to stop a 2 games home losing streak. it is hard to predict how the remaining 9 games will/might go. It is hard to predict how the next quarter will go. The inconsistance is very "confusing." It seams to be a major part of being mediocer - i guess.

You might want to check Your HMO for the "Kings factor." It should cover things like panic attack, anxiety, nervous break down, heart attack (different from hart attack which no HMO would ever cover), loss of voice, head injuries (from hitting the wall), insomnia etc. Currently, there is no cure.

Looks like Spurs might be waiting in the first round if we make it. Looks like a short series on the paper. Honestly, noone could predict what would happen. We don't even know what Kings team will show up from quarter to quarter.Realistically, the series doesn't go past 5 games but for us just to make it after this "special" season - it would be a great accomplishment.
We haven't faced the Spurs before but that doesn't mean that we cpuldn't learn to hate them quickly. And yes, Horry plays for Spurs.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I was on a short trip today and in the car we were watching "Waterboy" for the "x" time. In a related story - I was wondering how hard it must be for Spreewell to feed his family these days.He must be frustrated. Hell, even Vin Baker has found a team. I would like to meet his agent. Must be some sucky standup comic. On the other hand - the season was so "rich" on events - we did not miss Spree that much. Spurs could use him. Imagine the legendary lineup - NVE, Spree, Finley, Horry and Rasho. Who wouldn't pay mony - to watch - something else. Anything
------------------------------------------------------------------------
TDM award went to M Pietrus who scored 16 pts (7-11) and also had 3rebounds an assist a steal and a turnover. This time - it did not matter.
LW-VC award was yet again won by a Kings player. This time was jason Hart. In his 11 minutes:eek: he almost scored (0-4) had 2 rebounds an assist, 2 TOs and 2 steals. He almost single handedly brought Warriors back in the game within couple minutes. I clearly remember yelling at him and whomever brought him in the game or signed him for the Kings. I can't give direct quote because that would break every single rule of this site.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank god - we are done with Warriors (2-2). They were really going on my nerves because they just didn't want to quit and kings didn't want to finish them off. We made that game way too excitiing and almost gave it away. At the end - the luckier team prevailed but then again - we lead the whole game so it was well deserved.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
We own Clippers. You have to be really "old" to remember the last time Clippers won at ARCO. That is scary because Clippers have a good team and every streak ends sooner or later. They are by far the best team in LA for the second straight year. Still, we have always found the way to beat them. No reason to change now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike - at this part one might wonder wheather we have enough spare parts to keep mike operational
Ron - Still waiting for that big game
Miller - Except the rebounding alergy Brad is doing fine
SAR - needs to play better
Bonzi - played well last game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kevin - we need You kid
KT - had a solid game
Cisco - we need more
Hart - out of 30 NBA teams - we had to be one to end up with him. Was Derek Martin unavailable ?
Rest - Mateen
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - I am sure - he did not enjoy the end of the game
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clipper are much better than Lakers. The 'cave man" will own Brad yet again. We might not be able to stop Brand. Golumn always plays well against us and so does Radmanovic. Mobley might be extra agressive. TDM goes to Livingston LW-VC award goes to Jason Hart. When it is all said and done - Kings still own Clippers until proven otherwise.

OMG - piksi, this was the funniest paragraph I've read in a long time. And the comment that I highlighted almost had me dying of laughter. I gotta go see if my HMO covers that. :D

Yet again LA brings out the best in you piksi.
Maybe Hart shouldn't be so effective;) he's affecting my nerves, heart etc. My doctor told me the only cure is to root for another team:(
On a side note, why the he!! are the lakers on national tv every day? I don't get to see much bball and that is the last thing I want to see. I'd rather watch the knicks and that's saying something.

I got a bad feeling about this game. Despite beating the Clips 2 times already this season I think the Clippers are gonna come with extra fire power and will look to seek revenge.

Clippers 108
Kings 97
