With members of the City Council expressing concern about the project, city officials are postponing a key council vote on spending $6.5 million in city money to pay for critical pre-development expenses.

At what point does the NBA step in here? Sacramento has moved mountains to get this deal done. The city has done more than it's fair share. At some point the Maloofs need to contribute or the NBA really should force them to sell. They are acting like immature brats and it does not reflect well on the NBA when one of it's majority owners clearly cannot afford to support a team but is allowed to continue owning a franchise.

agreed, this is an embarrassment for the NBA IMO.
