Which seems odd considering how much the young guys got jerked around for no apparent reason.

Maybe what is really going on, is that they are high character guys that value being professional and staying positive. Probably presenting the same regardless of who the coach is

Christie really needs to find himself a “coachie” Adelman had Pete Carrill. Phil Jackson had Tex Winter. Find an assistant/associate head coach that has some semblance of an offensive system. I don’t doubt Christie’s ability to motivate and inspire. I do doubt his X’s and O’s on the offensive side of the ball.

I think you’re right and there’s plenty of guys out there, but we actually have a connection to one thats almost realistic. If the kings could convince McDermott to leave Creighton to be an offensive coach, they could be onto something. We of course have Dougie McDermot on the bench another year, but that’s not such a bad thing.
