I'm a student at Harvard, MA, so I rarely get to see Kings games. But 2 years ago, I was lucky enough to snag tickets to a Kings-Celtics game. What happened? Webb hit a three at the buzzer to give the Kings a one-point win. And this was after the Kings blew a huge lead. I was one of the only guys in the arena going crazy.
way nice! did y'all notice he also had bagged the three after the first attempted in-bounds when he got fouled (the foul to give). Anf those idiot Bucks announcers were comparing his foul with 4 sec's left to the Michigan time-out call!!!! Harumph! I say. Not related, but the quote of the night from the Bucks b'cast (speaking of Williams after a Bibby tturnover) "he's as quick as a hiccup (and after he missed the layup) "he's also as dry as a winter cough". Sounds almost like a Jerry Reynolds-ism.
That shot was all guts, I liked what he had to say in the interview with Grant and Jerry after the game as well. On a night when things seemed to just be going rough, it truly makes it all worth it to be a fan.
On another note, we yelled so loud when Webber's shot went in that we made the baby cry, and he wasn't even asleep or anything. Glad to know that someday he'll be yelling like that for the kings too.
anyone have a video link??? Unfortunately the game wasn't on tv so I missed the game. I was checking the nba.com scoreboard and I beleive the kings were down by 2 with 1 min something to go.
