I just don't get how Rosen can put the highly successful Baron Davis on the list. Yes his shooting % and ft% aren't that great but as a whole the guy is a winner. I think Peja and SAR are kinda overrated, but not more overrated than the guy's I have listed. I know some of you might disagree with some of my picks but Tony Parker is overrated, he's inconsistant to the max.

Tony parker is trash.

Baron davis being on that list is just plain retarded. He's the best PG in the league. Put him on the pistons over chauncey billups and see what he'll do. Put him over nash on the suns and see what he'll do. Heck, you can even throw him into the 2001-2003 kings in place of bibby and we'd prolly have a ring by now.

wow, you know a lot of players have rings. Tony in fact is lucky to be on the best team in the league. Yes he had a little something to do with it, but I think it mainly rests on his large friend in the middle's shoulders. Even Manu, who I abhor, had a lot more to do with the title this year than Parker who was non-existant at times.

for a guy who was a supposed "all-star" caliber player his performance was quite disappointing.

you have to remember, Rasho also has a ring, so does Darko. If your point is getting a ring makes you a great player, it's definitely not true. there are too many bad players with rings and too many good players with rings. honestly you replace Parker with numerous Pgs in the league and you probally still get a title; replace Tony with any number of players, namely Kidd. and you probally still get the same result. Maybe even bibby could play better D with the best big man in the league sitting behind him.

i can tell you one thing, parker is not the reason they beat detroit.

underrated list....steven hunter #2...wow..borderline all-star in 2 to 3 years. does this moron even realize who he's playing behind. he's playing behind a guy they are paying what 10 million a year. he'll never get that chance. charley rosen i think is in fact the dumbest columnist i've ever read.

wow trenton hassell up there as well....definsively he's great but that's it. he's one of the reasons why the twolves weren't that great last year, he didn't play up to the year before's stats....ie the year after a contract year.

I don't know about him taking the place of Bibby. If he did we might have never even gotten to the point where we could win a championship. He "was" just to selfish at that point in his career.

Baron Davis is a great player. He gets knocked for not staying healthy the last 3 seasons (30+, 15, 20 or 30+).

1) last year you could really see a difference between the pre and post BD Warriors. Now I'm not saying BD is the greatest thing since sliced bread but there are many players who have gotten less than what he's done. guy has won decently with both teams he's been on. i didn't say he was a true champion I just don't think he's overrated. just like i didn't think c-webb was #2 overrated last year.

you're kidding me right? the guy cant play defense worth s$$#! his offense is just run around in circles until the defense collapses trying to make sure duncan doesnt get the ball down low and then he throws up a prayer. his basketball IQ is very weak and his only upside is his quickness. if a defense decides- particularly in a playoff series when it counts(we all saw it against the lakers in 04)-to shut him down, they will. he shys away from pressure and if a team decides to take away his game he will wholeheartidly let it happen.
