Casspi In Sacramento - Videos/sightings (merged)

thats the exactly thing i said.

Yeah but I was saying that the reason doesn't have to do with him being Israeli.

You said it does.

I'm saying the reason is Maccabi. Casspi played in one of europe's biggest franchises ever.

just my point of view.

There are many reasons one would know Casspi but for me, it's because he's a Kings.

Hope he can help because we need a lot of help. It was cool that he signed the T-shirt. Sound like a nice guy...........but he better be a badass on the court. ;)

Yeah his a realy great guy :0 im not a guy which ask for signature's but when were making the fan stuff before the games he allways came to say hello ;]

I just cannot wait to see this guy, and the other two play on TV and/or in Person... it's gonna be a fun year!

I just hope this doesnt become a situation where its the player fans vs the team fans.

Hope he does great but im not looking forward the the threads after the game is Casspi doesnt getting any playing time.

i am not so sure he will play in the national team this year.
the israel team couch tzvika sherf has not yet talk to him about that.
i hope there will not be any problems with that and if caspii will ask him to stay in the team this year and not paticipate in the games because he wants to be at his best in sacramento and not maybe risk with an injury, then couch tzvika will allow it ,and i speake as an isrealy who love my national team.

Casspi already said his gonna play at the eurobusket this year cause he never played there so far .. (he was injured at 2007)
his gonna play there and even if he whould ask from tzvika to not zvika wont allow him, cause he HAVE to be on the national team at the euro busket, because this year we want to get to the world cup after so many years (since like 1990 when we finished 5th place at the world cup!) and we want to get to the olympic games on 2012... so casspi will HAVE to be on the national team.

kennadog- great pictures :) GO KINGS, :D:D:D

Reading automated translations can be hard, but occasionally they produce unexpected gems.
Ty Saliven, an agency of the employee under the financial agent, Leon Rose, said: "I think Slamri have a great situation here Vskrmnto. There is the Frnskico Garsih us and they Aodrich international players. Group had success with in the past became the Stoicovic, Omri is Lskrmnto great promise."

"Slamri." I like it!

As for his getting more love than Evans so far, I saw this poll over at fullcourtpress:
"Which Kings draftee are you most excited about?"

Results:
Tyreke Evans 41% (387 votes)
Omri Casspi 51% (480 votes)
Jon Brockman 8% (74 votes)
Total Votes: 941

So, yeah, it seems to be true, and not just on this board.

You don't think Israelis may be skewing the vote a tad? ;)

im sure tahts cause everybody already got that - omri casspi is a player which is playing with his heart and gives all on the court -

...

I don't think you can find anthoer place in the world with a similar case. And don't get me wrong. Good for Maccabi, sure, but not so good for the Israeli League.

Even though, we have a competetive league over here in the last couple of years. The problem is no one wants to invest in other teams, and that's sad because we had and have alot of bright basketball players.

Well, that's what I think...

The NBA has two real teams: Lakers and Celtics. The rest are foe teams, just good enough to keep it interesting but the two real teams end up dominating in the playoffs year after year. ;)

Oh, I'm sure they are, a bit. But Casspi is also a player with broad appeal, and, aside from our being fairly deep at SF already, there's nothing controversial about his pick. I haven't heard a single fan say that they were let down that we picked him. I think that's skewing it, too.
