When Jayson Tatum was drafted by the Boston Celtics, he knew he was joining a franchise with tremendous history, and whose record book was littered with some of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA. Tatum comes into tonight's game against Sacramento needing 22 points to join the Celtics' 1K club, adding to the narrative that the 20-year-old Tatum is among the best rookies in this franchise's storied history. Last week, Tatum became the youngest player in franchise history to have a game of at least 20 points and 10 rebounds with his 23-point, 11-rebound performance in Boston's 100-99 win over Oklahoma City.
