We're seeing more fringe NBA guys go to Europe and have success and leverage that into a second chance in the NBA with guaranteed money (blanking on his name but a Gonzaga guy did that this offseason). Would make perfect sense for JJ to try that route rather than get lost in the vast backlog of fringe NBA-ers in the G-League.
It certainly makes the most sense for him to go to Europe or China, but I figured if Stockton had not even scrubbed him from the online roster why not invite him back.
