Blow-Out Victory

Right now I'll take any sort of win I can get. But you know, I think that this young group really needs to have a blow-out victory. You know, one of those games where it's 'garbage' time for 12+ minutes.

Since the start of December this young group has played 27 games. They've won 7 games and lost 20, and those 20 games include the heart-ripping losses to the Lakers/Cavs.

Of those 7 wins, only one of them was a win where we outscored our opponent by double digits. All the rest were very closely contested. Of the 20 losses, 11 of them were by more than double-digits.

It feels to me as if the 'fun' these young guys were having has been sucked out of them. When they win, they are just barely eeking out the victory. And when they lose (especially of late), they are just getting mauled.

I think a blow-out win, one where all the guys are playing well and having fun, could really do wonders for their spirit.

I'll take any sort of win I can get, especially if it comes with further development of the Kids, but I think a blow-out victory could do wonders for all of them.

Yes, they need a win. I'm hoping for one in Utah this Friday... I'll be sporting my new Evans jersey, 10th row behind the home team basket!

Well yeah, a blow out would be nice, but it's a whole month before they see the Nets again, C'mon.

Seriously though, patience is key. You're looking at a couple of seasons of growth before you can really see what this team is really made of, not a couple of games.
