It's rather puzzling how Janelle won the phone call. Everyone else is expecting a family member or partner but she instead wanted to talk to Michael.

April brought up a great point: How if America didn't choose to bring Michael back inside the house but chose for Janelle to get a phone call from him?

It's not fair that here on the East Coast(or at least the NY area) CBS isn't showing BB6 until 2:06 AM. Not just at 2 AM but 6 minutes after 2. I'll be asleep.

I don't know how that affects those that live on the West Coast.

Just an FYI for people that get KOVR 13 on HD... BB6 will be shown on the HD channel 13.1 tonight. Raiders game is on normal 13

On the DishNet guide, it says the Saints-Raiders game is on Ch. 31. Ch. 13 is carrying the 49er game.

Oh this sucks big time...

I am also on Dish, however I get the HD from an antenna for local channels. Not the best of reception since we are about 50+ miles away from the transmission tower. But I watch it normally just to get it in HD.

You have 3 options as I see it VF:

1. Watch some preseason football. Not a bad option but not regular season and BB would be a better option tonight IMO.

2. Come to my house an hour or so away :) A good option but only if you bring beer HAHA

3. Try channel 12 out of Chico. Hook up some sort of antenner and see if you can get that one.


Can you get Channel 12 out of Chico that would be your best bet. I get it here with my antenna which is a little junk antenna.

I'm actually going to watch the Raiders game. I'm VERY angry with ch. 13 for deciding to broadcast a pre-season game, even if it is the 49ers, and they're not going to get my viewer tally on the ratings for their decision.

BW - There's a mountain between me and Chico. A pretty good sized mountain. I could get ch. 12 if my antenna was a few hundred feet taller.

OH that is not good nice schedule listing KOVR... THEY SUCK. Niners game on the HD channel also.

I get the analog Ch 12 barely, lets see if its on at 8. Now I am about to go postal!

Wow. Interesting episode...

Beau is history and the new HoH gets down to Maggie and Ivette. Maggie obviously throws the tie-breaker so Ivette gets HoH!!

Now, Ivette will put up Howie and possibly April (or Janelle). She won't dare put up Maggie after the huge gift Maggie gave her. Which I have to wonder if she even realizes...

This is deucedly clever by Maggie. First, it means she'll stick around another week. AND, more importantly I think, it means she'll be eligible for the NEXT HoH.

Very interesting strategy.

Hmm do you think Ivette will put up April? I think she will wait to make her move until after Howie and Janelle are gone. If she wants to win she is going to have to align herself with someone.

I suspect Howie and Janelle are going up but, if Howie doen't act like a DA like he did with April maybe they can pull out some sort of strategy.

Howie looked pretty excited to see Ivette get it HAHA kinda funny.

At this point there is so much intrique going on that I'm really not sure of much of anything. I don't think Ivette would put Maggie on the block. I do think she might put Howie and April and then back-door Janelle.

It's getting down to the real nitty gritty because people have to now think about the jury and how they'd vote as well as who they think they can beat for the big bucks.

I'm having a lot of trouble avoiding the spoiler website. For some reason, the closer it gets to broadcast time the more I'm tempted to take "just a peek"...

Should be interesting again tonight.

Anybody see the Survivor teaser? They're saying two of the "most popular" Survivors from previous shows are coming back. They show quick silhouettes. One of them looks like Gervace. The other is a long-haired female but I can't seem to place who she might be...

It's rigged.

I cannot wait until a survivor / AR comes on. This show is so rigged it's not even funny. After the start I said to my wife, Janelle will win it.

Now its a pretty dumb move for IV not to vote off April. Actually she is screwed either way but has to think she can win against Maggie/April in comps. Now it makes more sense why Maggie threw this last HOH. Now she won't be exempt, were Ivette will.

I cannot believe the amount of vitriol that comes out of Janelle's mouth. IF she makes it to the final two, I think it would be the ultimate "secret" if all her interviews were played for the jury right before the voting...

With April and Howie on the block, I think it's actually to everyone's benefit to vote April off. The majority of jurors are from the Friendship. I don't see them voting for either Janelle or Howie to get the money. So, if Maggie and Ivette vote April off, they're actually bettering their own chances.

At least that's how I'm figuring it right now.

I don't know about it being rigged, but I am looking forward to the good reality shows coming on. I've always seen Big Brother as something to keep me busy during an otherwise dry summer reality season.

Janelle certainly isn't my favorite person in the whole world, but I have to admit that the "Friendship" annoys me to no end. They're just as snotty and judgemental as Howie and Janelle...just not as overt about it. I've pretty much had enough of all of them, and with the jury so stacked with the Nerd Herd, the show's end should be fairly inconsequential.

The one thing I hate the most is the looking down their noses that the whole group - Janelle and Howie especially - have done. Some of the things Howie said to April were horrible and Janelle's comments are contemptible. For that, if no other reason, I do not want to see her win.

I agree with you there...I think I've just reached the point that I don't want to see ANY of these people win.

Now that would be a "secret" for the ages! Instead of one of the final two winning, the jury decides to split the $500,000 among themselves.
