Best places to eat in Sacramento

I'm going to have lunch soon, so I decided to make this, just for fun. What's the best place to eat that you've all been to? I like Willie's Chili on 16'th and Broadway. They have the best chili fries in the history of man, and the burgers are great.

There's also this Chinese place called Chang's in Natomas. Little tiny restaurant, sandwiched in between a Pharmacy and a Pizza place. If you ever see it, drop what you're doing and get some of their Shrimp Chow Mein- It'll change your life.

A couple I like:

The Eatery in West Sac. Aioli Bodega Espanola in Sac is good (18th and L). Zelda's has some good pizza.

I don't eat in Sac too often, so I don't know a lot of the local places.

I go to Jimboy's every time I visit home. And Vic's or Burr's for a hot dog sandwich and a shake.

Other than that I'll meet a few friends in midtown at whatever the flavor of the month is.

Aioli has an awesome patio too. Love Zelda's as well.
To the OP: Go eat at Jaimes down on Broadway next to Hong Kong cafe. My favorite place to eat. Have never had a bad meal there.

Sarang Bang(link), Korean Restaurant. The best Korean food in town, actually most of the Korean Restaurants along Rancho Cordova are good. Oz BBQ (kind of overrated), YD House. Not Korea House though (although it is a restaurant they were ran by close friends to my family their quality isn't that good). At Sarang Bang I always order the Bulgogi and the Soondobu Jigae (Spicy Tofu Soup, not really spicy but being raised on what I ate I don't know what is spicy anymore). Smaller places like Sarang Bang are generally busy but the food is worth the wait. Go to Oz Korean BBQ if you want a more large chain trendy restaurant feel for your family. You cook the BBQ in front of you on table top grills to your liking.

Sushi Hook(link) is another busy Korean ran restaurant (90 percent of the Sushi places in Sacramento are Korean owned and are almost always half price). I'm only listing them here because they are the only sushi restaurant that regularly has fresh fish. Going to places like Arigato on Arden or Blue Nami in the Folsom Palladio, especially on weekends and you'll taste the fishiness. I'm thinking Sushi Hook gets bi-weekly visits from their distributor compared to other sushi restaurants in the area. The Sushi Hook owners also own the ramen place across from them. The food there is pretty good but the ramen has way too many sprouts. The head waitress there is very nice, almost aunt like (assuming you had pleasant aunts in your family).

I'll add more as I remember them, maybe some Cantonese style Chinese food or some Filipino places.

Have you tried Tako Korean BBQ dowtown? Definately unique spot (converted from an old gas station that was a landmark) and unique cuisine, but very good.

Carls JR!!!! lol After moving to Corpus Christi Texas where there is no Carls Jr. That place is the establishment i ponder about most of all now that I live here. When I lived in Sacramento latest being in 2009. There is a Thai food cuisine directly across from the old Mclellen AFB. Its a hole in the wall but it is authentic and good, i advise you order the spicy beef rice-noodle or the shrimp and mushroom soup. (Im huge on spicy food)

Zelda's is the best pizza in Sacramento, and second only to Zachary's in all of CA, if ya ask me...

i'd also throw in Tower Cafe on Broadway, Fox & Goose on R St., Tres Hermanas on K. St., and Gunther's Ice Cream on Franklin Blvd. as places my wife and i frequent...

You and me both. I thought the concept of the cheese skirt was amazing, but the actual execution didn't impress me.
The Squeeze Inn is an inferior offshoot of Nobby's on Park Ave. in Chico, CA. Nobby's makes an incredible burger, complete with cheese skirt, so if you're ever further up north, grab one there...
