For my first message on this board i'll speak my mind on this great game 2, hum great but even more painfull !
I'm a big mike bibby's fan since his first year with the grizzlies, then i followed him when he got traded to the kings
I'm also a fan of Artest (since 2002) so I'm on cloud nine since they play united for my fav' team !

Just after this game i was mad at Bibby and Adelman for the defense on what must have been the last possession of the game
Why letting bibby down the stretch for defensive possession ? especially he was creating a mismatch guarding taller guys, in this case Barry.
Bibby was not aware of people around him, just looking at the ball, but you have to recognize that duncan set a great screen on him
Adelman : with 20s left in the game, kings up by 3, why in the world not to go in the FT game ? kings are way better than the spurs for shooting FT, Martin did a perfect 10/10, and bibby won't miss more FT than parker !
that's the only thing i don't understand
I guess you have to give gredit to Pop for this play, maybe that's what confused the kings (ginobili isolated refusing the 3, driving easily to the basket just like he was going for a lay-up)
Having a team for defense and another for attack is maybe not in the philosophy of Adelman, that's maybe why he did not choose this option
What to thing of Bibby ?
Spurs doing a great job on him, that's for sure, bowen and parker are good defenders
but at one time it was Van Exel on him, i start thinking he was going to punish the spurs for this but no
So what's the problem ?
I think he needs a good Brad Miller ! Simple ! on the triangle offense it's Miller who gives good looks to bibby(and the others). See how many assists Miller had on this 2 games ? 0 and 2... From a man who is 4.7 this season
The kings offense is not what it was during the regular season where Bibby is sooooo good, in the second half there was just isolating plays (for Reef and Bonzi). It's great that this 2 were INSTOPABLE !!! I knew Bonzi can't be garded by powerless Gino, Bowen, even Finley ain't as strong as you need to defend on Bonzi on the Lowpost
But Reef guarded by Duncan or Mohammed or Horry ! 3 good, tall, pretty quick defenders and great shotblockers !
He's really skilled, great hook shot (one the best of the NBA), footwork etc
I hope RonRon will be inspired by Wells for game 3...4-5-6-7
I mean if Ron stays in the paint in offense, just shoots open threes, we'll be fine ! Same for wells, he can't be guarded by any forwards of the spurs
I hope you guys going to Arco will cheer as much as you can to make it a hell for the spurs !
If Tipi is again too fast for the kings, why not drawing the hair of Eva Longoria ?
I still believe we can win this series, Spurs need two W, that's not easy to get especially knowing that 3of5 games will be in arco!
In some way just have to steal one game a San Antonio and win it all in arco
