Quick question: Why don't the Kings run a pick and roll with Bibby and Peja like the Mavs used to do with Nash and Dirk? That was nearly unstoppable.

Quick question: Why don't the Kings run a pick and roll with Bibby and Peja like the Mavs used to do with Nash and Dirk? That was nearly unstoppable.

I've asked that very question for years....but then took a good hard look at who is guarding Peja. It is usually always someone who is shorter than he is. It would be as simple as switching and then Mike would have a bigger defender on him, whereas with Dirk, a slower PF is usually guarding him.

Good point, I guess I forgot to consider that should a switch take place, Dirk has the post skills that Peja lacks in order to take advantage of the smaller defender.
