They stopped by my office today. Mayor Johnson couldn't make it but they did have quite the entourage there. It was good to see the unified front on the arena issue.

They talked about how they have been tasked with having the first draft of the financing plan in 100 days, or by Labor day. I asked them about public financing options that don't require a public vote and was glad to hear that they have a lot of ideas that don't require a vote. They definitely get that placing a ballot measure before the voting public will not succeed, particularly in this economy.
