Anyone in Sacramento use ALL-Access NBA Pass for live broadband streaming of games?

I am wondering if anyone in Sacramento or local has purchased the ALL-ACCESS video streaming service from the NBA? I am a dish customer and need a way to watch my Kings. I am afraid if I purchase this however, that I still won't be able to see the Kings games. Does anyone know if all the Kings games are blacked out as they are broadcasted by CSN?

Thanks all!

Ok I see it. Are you trying to tell me that I cannot ask a question about watching the Kings games on the NBA.com all-access site? The link says that in these forums we are not allowed to reference live streams except nba.com and espn. I am asking a question about the nba.com all-access pass - a legal service. Before I purchase ALL-ACCESS from the NBA, I would like to know if I can actually see the Kinga games or if anyone has experienced these games being blacked out. Because if they are blacked out, then I don't want to spend the money on this service. Thanks!

The NBA stream isn't illegal...

Anyway I am almost positive they will be blacked out. I live in San Diego and have the LP Broadband. Any game that would be in my viewing area is blacked out so I can bet that any that could be seen in Sacramento would be.

When I signed up for the 3 day trial all of the Kings games were blacked out. I was a little disappointed, I was trying to avoid wasting money on cable since they only reason I'd bother is to watch the Kings play.

I'm pretty sure they are all blacked out. Even when I lived in Santa Cruz, they were all blacked out.

I'm pretty sure that's the deal. You wanna watch local games, you have to watch on TV and order the channel through your cable provider. I'm sure you'll agree, it's all about the money.

I do feel bad for all the saps who live in California, and don't have whatever channel it is the Kings air locally on on their service, though.

League Pass cures those ills, if I'm not mistaken. I'm not in that region, so I don't know, but I never have blacked out Kings games unless they're playing the Clippers or Lakers.

But then isn't it just shown on local TV anyway?

It does not. For example, if I were a Wizards fan living over here, and I had Verizon, I'd be screwed, with or without League Pass. Especially with League Pass, because all Wizards games would be blacked out on League Pass, and I also wouldn't be able to watch them locally, because Verizon doesn't carry CSN-DC. I imagine that it would be the same for anyone living in Northern California, who ordered League Pass, and had a service provider that doesn't carry the channel that Kings games come on.

Yup, it's called Dish Network and it sucks. Just dumped them and went back over to the dark side with Comcast.

I wish I could drop but i signed a 2 year contract with them... Directv is the only other option and we would wind up spending a couple hundred extra to have the same setup i already have with dish... The reason I switched to dish in the first place was to get the Kings games in HD for cheaper.... now its coming back to bight me in the ***.

Thanks all for replying to my question. It sounds like if anyone lives in Sacramento and you have purchased the ALL-ACCESS pass with the NBA you still would not be able to see the Kings' games. Which really sucks! I don't understand Dish Network's policy in this matter. They are a cheaper alternative to dtv and comcast, but honestly, if I am ready to purchase an all-access pass to watch the Kings games, then I would be ready to pay a little extra to watch the Kings games on dish. They should just make CSN a subscription channel on its own, that way it would not affect any other viewers who don't care about those regional sports. Duhhhhh! Anyway, again, thanks all for your replies! And GO KINGS FOREVER!!

Ah. I see, said the blind man. It's about the channel and provider.

Dish couldn't reach an agreement therefore, they no longer carry Kings game. I did email Dish and they said they are still trying to reach an agreement, but who knows how long that will take.

By the way, I have dish and was very upset when this happened. However, I am still satisfied. Since I have a nice TV with HD, their HD channels come out very clear. I heard AT&T U-verse has crappy HD channels. I won't ever go back to Comcast and Direct TV is more expensive than Dish. Therefore, I will stick with Dish.

They all get blacked out in your local network area. I live in LA and I get league pass to watch the KINGS and the Lakers games and Clippers games are blackout on online all the time along with on TV because they want you to watch it on the local TimeWarner channel, fair enough, I live in LA I don't want to watch it on the internet.

I had Uverse and I can say their HD was pretty terrible. I have dish now and I can say I am madder than ever, stupid 2 year contract...

My understanding is that Dish wants to pay for the channel for those that subscribe (reasonable, if you aske me), while Comcast is demanding that they get paid for every Dish customer that COULD get the channel, whether they subscribe to it or not. Not sure why this is coming up now, but it sucks.

So wouldn't Dish Networks removal of Comcast CA be grounds to get out of a 2-year contract? I'd have to think it would. If you signed up for their service and signed the contract while the channel was offered they should be obligated to either provide the channel or let you out of your contract
