Anybody Up For A Couple of Crusades?

I'm new here, so this may be a little too bold for some of you.

Rather than throwing these two ideas out there right away, I'll just ask if there are many people here who think that a board like this COULD be a way to organize around a couple of issues that are sports related.

But a lot of people prefer sports as an escape from the real world, so, I am just asking in general at this point.
