Anybody hear any good trade rumors?

You are the LAST person who should ever "LOL" in response to anyone else's post.

Let me help you Bibbilicious (and other more common offenders.) We're looking for higher quality posts overall on this forum.
It would be nice if you would capitalize names and beginning of sentences. Grammar would also be appreciated, but I can only ask for so much. I don't think people here are interested in stream-of-thought consciousness style posting, unless there's some real meat behind the post.

For example, had you said, "Has anybody heard of any good trade rumors lately? It's painfully clear that Thomas needs to be moved." You could then talk about reasons why we should punt him (i.e. lack of improvement in his game, improvement of team morale, etc.)

You could also ask if there are teams who would be interested in a power forward looking for a change of scenery.

But to answer your original question, the only way Kenny Thomas is moved is if he is a contract filler for a big move, or if he is outright released. He alone will not be the chip that other teams are bargaining for.

Don't take this as a slam, but as some constructive criticism. I think we can all do better in a season where there will be much frustration.

GO KINGS!

Opinions are opinions. I may not be the favorite poster around here...but I dont care.

It's not a matter of favorite or not favorite, it's a matter of the pot calling the kettle black, so to speak.

These are the kinds of threads you start over and over again (in various forums, hence the "random thoughts" thread in the Kings forum, for example), and YOU'RE laughing at one?

find a thread of mine that says something close to this. any good trade rumors.....I think it maybe some people take "a fan website" a little bit to serious. that is what i think. you should be able to have freedom to post anything you want. it should not matter what as long as you dont offend someone.

And again, this isn't just any old "fan website".

In case you missed it, start with Spike's post. Maybe re-read the opening couple paragraphs a couple times so they sink in. We really are looking for posters with some thought and insight. You know, with reasons for stuff they post. Not just because they feel like starting threads for the sake of starting threads.

Then maybe go read the posting tips, too:

http://www.kingsfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12978

Especially no.'s 6 and 11. Maybe the "hint" after no. 1 as well while you are at it.

For instance, look at the OP of this thread. No insight or serious discussion, just a random thought put out there.

You do the same thing at times. Why start a new thread? If you have a little comment to throw into an existing topic, fine. Knock yourself out. But to keep starting threads that clutter up the board when your comment could fit into an existing thread is, well, pointless.

All we ask is that folks follow the posting tips, try to have a point (with at least most of the posts they make) with some logical discussion or feeling behind it, and that starting repeat threads is kept to a minimum.

OK? Too much to ask?
