ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Denver forward Carmelo Anthony's sprained left ankle sidelined him for the Nuggets' game against the Orlando Magic on Saturday night.

Anthony was hurt the night before in a loss at Miami. He rolled the ankle after missing a layup and landing on Miami center Shaquille O'Neal's foot.

The team reported Anthony is suffering from moderate discomfort and mild swelling and will wear a protective boot for the next two days. He is listed as questionable for Monday's game against Phoenix. Anthony is averaging 21.4 points and six rebounds.

yea i saw the game on espn. it looked like he almost had to be carried off the court. now the injury may not seem as bad. i just hope people dont start calling melo injury prone after this.
