Another request for prayer...

Thought I would bring this request to my "friends" here at KF.

My mom just called from SoCal this morning and told me that she was just diagnosed with breast cancer. I am unable to go down for Christmas but I'm going to try and get down there in January. She will be in the midst of treatment then. I am thankful that both she and my dad are retired, so there's no stress about that at least.
She didn't want to call me til tomorrow cuz she didn't want to ruin the game for me. I don't even care about the game tonight.

hoopsfan, I understand how tough it is being far away when someone you care about is diagnosed. My best to you and your mom. My prayers are with your mom and your entire family.
