oh im sure that the Mavs thought of the irony...but ofcourse they aren't gonna mention it in public...
what goes around comes around...i just would of liked any other team to block that last second shot by Dallas...what doesn't seem fair is that the Suns managed to save their win by a last second ("controversial"?) call
i can't wait til justice is served to Phoenix...ill be there pointing and laughing...bahahhaha...hopefully it comes at PO time....the worst time for it to happen to them...bahahhaha

Phoenix plays pretty good defense. If you watch their games (they are my league pass perennial favorite), you see that they give up a lot of points because of the pace of the game. When they buckle down, and they usually do in the second half, this team is frightening. Everyone on the court besides Nash is freakishly athletic and Marion and Johnson are fantastic defenders.

i think this is kinda unfair. i know this is gonna sound really weird, but i 've kinda warmed up to mark cuban, goofy courtside expressions and all. i can appreciate the fact that he's incredibly involved with the mavericks. i remember a time when the maloofs had no other interest than their basketball team. things have changed, and they've got other plans. i'm not trying to knock the maloofs here, but i'd be willing to bet that mark cuban would make damn sure that the kings didnt leave sacramento if he were the owner here. he protects his investments, and he really is good to his team. i've come to appreciate his wry humor and outspoken nature. he just tells it like it is, and this is a rare quality in the world of team ownership.

It was hilarious to see Cuban beg for the refs to hand them a win after what was a legit block. Sorry Mark, you already won a game off a bad call this month don't get greedy now. He even watched the replay and kept crying about it. How can you not root for bad things to happen to this guy's team?

doesnt bother me a bit that the guy cares so much about his team. i respect his passion. like i said before, i remember a time when the maloofs were just as passionate. they arent nearly as outspoken as mark cuban, but their courtside antics used to be just as outrageous as cuban's. they're not just owners, theyre fans of the game and fans of their team. i miss those maloofs.

Next time Dirk will go up with two hands, in fact his first basket tonight was basicallly the same angle dunk and he went up with two hands.
So, thats good. So many calls are blown these days that it is ridiculous to sit around and worry about them.

Padrino - I cannot respect an owner who, on an opponent's home court, taunts the home fans and dances on their court to celebrate his team's questionable victory. He has a lot going for him, to be sure, but he could use a few lessons in respect for other teams, etc.
As far as missing those Maloofs, talk to the Sacramento Bee. It is IMHO at least partially the fault of that newspaper, which has put a big target on Joe and Gavin, that the Maloofs are more restrained, etc. Anything they do is subject to misinterpretation, quotation out of context, spin, etc. They are constantly being accused of having ulterior motives, not caring about the fans or the town, etc. I can hardly blame them for not always showing the same emotions they were once so free in expressing.
