It took only seven seasons after the supposed coup of an acquisition, but Grant Hill finally reached the playoffs with the Magic. Not only that, he lasted to the end of a campaign for the first time since arriving from Detroit in a sign-and-trade that was heralded as a triumphant moment in Orlando and instead became a series of injury and defeat. Hill averaged 14.4 points and shot 51.8 percent at age 34 and will be a free agent in July.
